Ulayaw Ahon Mountaineering Club is composed of individuals who found home in the mountains.
Group of first time climbers and experienced ones, the group found a dynamic crowd in regards of mountain climbing. Later on, the bonding continues and from one mountain, the list grew as their relationship stepped into next level until they feel the family with each other.

Lalayag (or Nalayag) Monolith is actually a rock formation with three peaks. It is part of a mountain in Lobo town of Batangas called Mount Masalukot. (FYI: Lalayag came from the Filipino word “layag” meaning sail, like that of a boat because it looks like one; while Masalukot comes from the local term “salakot” a kind of hat)

ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN:
Mt. Mabilog, with an elevation of a little more than 441 meters above sea level, doesn’t seem to be much of a challenging hike. It offers simpler trails as compared to prominent mountains Pico de Loro and Batulao.
It is the rounded plateau that serves as the summit of this mountain that gave rise to its name, which means “round”.

Mt. Daguldol is one of the top choices as one of the best mountains to go to if you aren’t just for treks and trails, but also for basking in the sun while swimming in the sea.

1. Take note of the adjusted/ longer trek time since we will be cleaning the trail while trekking (ascend and descend). Trek time indicated on the IT is subject to change.
2. Sacks for the trashes will be provided by Tripkada. All trash will be brought down to the trailhead for weighing and proper disposal.
3. There will be official/designated photographers who are allowed to take photos during the cleanup drive. Personal photos will be allowed while on take five, at the summit, at the beach and the whole duration of camping. This is to ensure that we will maintain
the main purpose of this event- and that is to do a clean up drive.
